How to get to the University of Stuttgart,  Computing Centre (Rechenzentrum), Allmandring 30a, 70569 Stuttgart Vaihingen

Public transportation

Coming from the city ("Hauptbahnhof" - central station), you can take the S-Bahn trains to Filderstadt, Herrenberg, Vaihingen or Flughafen/Airport (S1, S2, S3). Get off at the station Universität. A single ticket will cost you 2.05 euro. Tickets are only sold at ticket machines which take coins or banknotes (usually 5,10,20 euro).

Coming from the airport: you can either take a taxi (about 20 EUR) or the S-Bahn to Backnang or Schorndorf Get off at the station Universität. It takes about 16 minutes.

Accommodation

The trip from the center of Stuttgart to the University in Stuttgart Vaihingen only takes 10 minutes by means of public transport.
