Daidalos at the IST
Mobile & Wireless Summit 2007

Budapest, 1 - 5 July 2007

At the IST Mobile and Wireless Communications Summit in Budapest, Daidalos succeeded in being highly visible towards the 550 participants: Daidalos organised a full-day workshop and presented 10 papers in workshop and poster session.

In addition, Daidalos had a meeting with Ms. Gaby Lenhart and Mr. Ultan Mulligan from the ETSI department "Strategy and new initiatives", in order to identify the potential of standardisation inputs based on Daidalos results.

As a result of all these activities, Daidalos achieved a strong impact at the Mobile Summit 2007, confirming the high importance of the research performed in the project.

ENABLE-DAIDALOS Workshop:
Research and Deployment Possibilities based on MIPv6
The workshop organised by Antonio F. Gómez Skarmeta from the University of Murcia in cooperation with EU project ENABLE attracted more than 20 participants.

The workshop was organised in three sessions: 1. Mobility and Deployment Scenarios, 2. Enhanced Mobility, and 3. Business and Standardization Opportunities.

In addition to presentations from Daidalos and ENABLE, the programme featured an invited talk by Yoann Lopez and Eric Robert from Thales on "Mobility and AAA testbeds".
